Jeff Riggenbach, PhD, LPC is a speaker, author, & clinician licensed in the state of Oklahoma. He currently serves as the director of outpatient services at Brookhaven Hospital in Tulsa, and is president of the CBT Institute of Oklahoma.
Dr. Riggenbach has devoted the last 15 years of his career to studying, researching, practicing & teaching cognitive behavioral based treatments and has developed specific expertise in assessment & treatment of personality dysfunction.
After earning his PhD in counseling/psychology, He completed his postdoctoral training with the Beck Institute of Cognitive Therapy and Research in Philadelphia and became a diplomat with academy of Cognitive Therapy.
He has served as site director for one of the largest clinical trials in the world for borderline personality disorders and few programs in the country have treated more individuals with BPD than his.
Dr. Riggenbach has been an invited speaker, given keynote addresses, and hosted seminars and conferences in all 50 states in addition to lecturing at universities in Canada and Mexico.
He has a reputation for bridging the gap between academia and everyday clinical practice, and his talks routinely receive the highest marks from workshop participants in terms of professional knowledge application and entertainment value.
He is the author of the recently released CBT toolbox: a workbook for clients and clinicians which stayed on Amazon’s best seller list for many month, in the category of mental health/self help.
In addition to speaking, and writing, Jeff practices CBT on a daily basis in individual and group settings.
